How this archive is kept

What Vestige is

A fan-kept lore archive of the Origin System: records written to be read, told whole, and cited to their sources. It is built in the manner of the archive-keepers of the setting itself. Patient, precise, and honest about the difference between what is attested and what is guessed.

The accuracy doctrine

Synthesis prose currently covers released canon through Jade Shadows: Constellations (June 2026). Claims are attested to the quests and codex entries that establish them, listed at the foot of each section. Where canon is genuinely ambiguous or contested, the record says so. A gap is preferred to a guess, and entries that await primary sources are marked accordingly. Corrections are welcome and will be applied with a note.

Sources and quotations

Every verbatim quotation in a PRIMARY SOURCES panel is drawn from Digital Extremes' official public data endpoints (PublicExport), fetched 2026-07-05, and cited in place. Synthesis prose is human-curated original writing. It summarizes and connects; it does not reproduce game text outside the cited panels.

Spoilers

The archive tells the story whole. Every record, every chronicle entry, and every thread of the Weave is written spoiler-complete; nothing is hidden and nothing waits behind a gate. What the archive owes you instead is provenance: each section names the quest its lore belongs to, and the chips lead into The Story So Far, where every chapter is recapped in order. If you would rather meet the story's turns in the game first, play the cinematic quests before reading deep. The archive will be here when you return.

Imagery

Every mark in this archive is original geometric construction: the sigils are drawn by hand in the archive's own line language. Photographic backdrops are archive plates: official Digital Extremes media from their fan kit, or in-game captures, credited where they appear. No AI-generated imagery is used here, and none ever will be.

Supporting the archive

Vestige is free, carries no advertising, and its records will never sit behind a paywall. Digital Extremes' Content Policy forbids charging for access to fan works, and this archive would refuse to anyway. If it becomes part of how you play, you can support the archive on Ko-fi: donations fund hosting and the hours the records take to keep. Passive, clearly bounded advertising, which DE's policy expressly permits for fan sites, may follow later, and anything premium will only ever be a convenience (never a record, never the lore).

Legal and courtesy

Vestige is an unofficial fan work, not affiliated with or endorsed by Digital Extremes. Warframe and all quoted game text are © Digital Extremes Ltd., quoted non-commercially with citation in the manner permitted by their Content Policy. This archive carries no advertising. The deepest respect is owed to the community projects that came before it, above all the transcription work of Orokin Archives and the keepers of the official community wiki.

Colophon

Set in Marcellus (the Orokin voice), Rajdhani (the Cephalon voice), and Archivo (the reading voice), on a ground of void-dark blue. Built by one fan, kept like a lighthouse.
